Composite Laminator – Motorsport & Formula 1
An excellent opportunity for experienced Composite Laminators to join a leading motorsport and high-performance automotive manufacturer based in Oxfordshire.
This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, consistent overtime, and the chance to work on Formula 1, motorsport, and advanced composite projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carbon fibre pre-preg lay-up
- Working from engineering drawings, templates, and lay-up manuals
- Vacuum bagging, de-bulking, and curing processes
- Trimming and finishing composite components
- Producing parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Supporting production within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Composite Laminator / Composite Technician
- Background in motorsport, Formula 1, aerospace, or high-performance automotive
- Strong understanding of carbon fibre and composite manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High attention to detail and quality
- Flexible approach to overtime
Salary & Benefits
- £12.90 – £16.00 per hour (1-3 years’ experience)
- £16.00 – £18.00 per hour (4-7 years’ experience)
- Overtime paid at:
- 1.25x after 40 hours
- 1.5x weekends
- 40-hour working week
- Paid breaks (2 x 15 minutes daily)
- Free hot drinks on-site
- Early finish every Friday
- Permanent role with strong long-term prospects
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30
- Friday: 07:00 – 15:00

The Opportunity
We’re looking for experienced Composite Laminators to support Formula 1 and motorsport manufacturing programmes at a leading composite facility in Oxfordshire, right in the heart of Motorsport Valley.
You’ll be producing high-performance carbon fibre components for F1 teams, motorsport programmes and elite automotive projects, working to the highest standards of quality, precision and delivery.
These are rolling contract roles, offering excellent hours, competitive rates, and immediate starts for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lay-up of pre-preg carbon fibre and advanced composite materials
- Work from engineering drawings, templates and lay-up manuals
- Vacuum bagging, de-bulking and curing processes
- Trimming and finishing to motorsport-level tolerances
- Maintaining consistent quality in a fast-paced production environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Composite Laminator within Formula 1, motorsport, aerospace or high-performance automotive
- Strong understanding of carbon fibre lay-up, bonding and curing techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Confident reading and following technical drawings and lay-up instructions
- Flexible, reliable and comfortable working overtime when required
Contract Details
- £24.00 per hour (Ltd Company)
- Outside IR35
- Rolling contracts with strong long-term potential
- Day shifts with early Friday finish
- Plenty of additional hours available
- Immediate starts available
