SMT Operator – (3-Month Initial Contract – Outside IR35)
 
Woking | £20-£24/hour (DOE) | Monday – Friday – Days
 
We’re GTS Group, and we’re looking for an experienced SMT Operator to join our clients team on a 3-month initial contract to help build the future of high-performance electronics.
 
What You’ll Be Doing

• Run SMT production lines like a pro
• Set up and prep SMT machinery for smooth builds
• Inspect PCBs using AOI systems during manufacturing
• Diagnose faults and fix them fast
• Occasionally get hands-on with conformal coating & selective soldering
• Support electronics assembly inspections
• Stick to ISO9001 processes and aim for zero defects

 
What You’ll Bring

• Solid SMT production experience (surface mount is your thing)
• Experience with ASM/Siemens Siplace? Big bonus
• Familiarity with IPC standards (Class 3 experience = nice to have)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
