Overview
A vacancy has arisen within the R&D Electronic Engineering department of a leading industrial electronics manufacturing company. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a team, meeting tight deadlines while demonstrating a proactive attitude and a strong enthusiasm for learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review schematics, circuits, and power electronic subsystems.
- Build, test, and iterate functional prototypes.
- Perform fault finding, root-cause analysis, and system-level debugging.
- Conduct electronic testing, validation, and performance optimisation.
- Drive design improvements for efficiency, scalability, manufacturability, and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers.
- Document designs, test results, and engineering changes.
Requirements
- Strong experience in electronics, circuit design, and schematic development.
- Hands-on skills in fault finding, debugging, and bench testing.
- Experience building and evaluating early-stage and preproduction prototypes.
- Passion for iterative design, continuous improvement, and solving technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment.
