Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
 
We are working with a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in High Wycombe, supplying high-quality electrical control panels to a wide range of industries.
 
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead and coordinate the workshop operations.
 
The Role
 
As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production of control panels, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You will manage people, processes, and schedules to ensure efficient and consistent output.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage production activities to meet customer deadlines
• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of panel wirers and workshop staff
• Ensure all work is carried out to relevant electrical standards and company quality procedures
• Monitor workflow, labour allocation, and productivity
• Liaise with engineering, purchasing, and management to resolve issues and improve efficiency
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within production

 
About You

• Proven experience in a production or workshop management role
• Background in control panel wiring or electrical manufacturing is highly desirable
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Good understanding of production planning and workflow management
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
