Mechanical Inspector – F1 – Night Shift

We are recruiting Contract Mechanical Inspectors to join a well known F1 operation based in the heart of Motorsport Valley, supporting precision inspection work as the team pushes performance boundaries toward the 2026 regulations.
 
You will inspect high-accuracy machined metallic components, working nights in a fast-paced, quality-critical environment.
 
Available Roles
 
Nights (x2)
Monday to Thursday | 21:00-07:30 – Contract to end of April 2026
 
Weekend Nights
Friday to Sunday | 07:00-19:00 – Contract to end of April 2026
 
Rates are open to discussion based on experience. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Inspect internally and externally manufactured machined components
• Verify dimensional accuracy to engineering drawings
• Operate CMMs and advanced metrology equipment
• Use PC-DMIS and PolyWorks for inspection and reporting
• Record inspection results in ERP/MRP systems
• Work closely with Quality, Production, and Machine Shop teams

 
Skills & Experience

• Proven Mechanical Inspector experience in Formula 1, motorsport, or high-performance manufacturing
• Strong understanding of machining processes
• Hands-on experience with CMMs and precision measurement tools
• Ability to work accurately on night shifts in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to Health & Safety
