Our client, a global leader in engineering management solutions, provides end-to-end, data-driven systems for banks, retailers, and cash processors across 100+ countries. They develop bespoke software and hardware solutions, giving customers full control and visibility of their banknotes and critical cash data throughout the cycle.
They are now seeking a Software Engineer C#/C++ Engineer to join their team, working on the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications, including embedded systems, to support innovative cash handling solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications and embedded systems using C# and C++
- Write, test, debug, and refactor code in line with coding standards
- Maintain technical documentation and version control
- Work within an Agile framework to deliver software solutions on time
- Troubleshoot and resolve software faults on live systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, analysts, and project managers
- Support continuous improvement and process efficiency initiatives
Key Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong experience in C# and C++, including embedded systems
- Knowledge of Agile software development and unit testing
- Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
