Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Thurs – 18:00 – 06:00

The Opportunity
GTS Group are recruiting experienced Composite Trimmers to join a leading motorsport and high-performance automotive engineering business based in Buckinghamshire.
 
This is a permanent nights position, working on advanced carbon fibre components for Formula 1 teams, hypercar manufacturers, and elite motorsport programmes. You’ll be part of a highly skilled production team responsible for delivering performance-critical components to the highest standards of precision and quality.
 
This role offers long-term stability, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge motorsport projects.
 
The Role – Composite Trimmer

• Trim, drill, bond, and assemble carbon fibre composite components
• Work to extremely fine tolerances using jigs, fixtures, and hand tools
• Prepare and finish high-performance composite parts for F1 and motorsport applications
• Ensure components meet strict quality and dimensional standards
• Work efficiently to production deadlines in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and H&S compliance

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as a Composite Trimmer within motorsport, Formula 1, aerospace, or high-performance automotive
• Strong experience working with carbon fibre components
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Comfortable working permanent night shifts (Monday evening to Friday morning)
• Team-focused with a proactive and professional attitude
