Experienced Pattern Maker Wanted – Motorsport, Aerospace & Advanced Manufacturing
Are you an experienced Pattern Maker looking to join a leading advanced manufacturing environment? We’re recruiting for a skilled individual with a passion for precision, craftsmanship and high-quality finishes to support the production of complex components for sectors including Formula 1, Motorsport, Aerospace, Automotive, Marine and Defence.
 
This is an excellent opportunity to work on varied, technically challenging projects within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.
• Manufacture and finish epoxy, metallic and composite patterns to a high standard.
• Wire patterns and direct moulds.
• Install fixings into machined components.
• Assemble complex parts to precise specifications.
• Operate manual workshop machinery safely and effectively.
• Work to tight tolerances while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow production procedures.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Pattern Maker.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings.
• Experience benching epoxy and metallic patterns to a high-quality finish.
• Skilled in pattern assembly and manual machining techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• A proactive team player with good communication skills.
• Flexible, reliable and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:15pm
• Friday: 7:45am – 2:45pm
• 38.5 hours per week
