Overview
 

• We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Commissioning Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering support at customer sites.
• This role is responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and optimising electro-mechanical equipment while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, safety compliance, and first-time fix performance.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical capability, a professional on-site presence, and a disciplined approach to processes and quality.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Commission and ensure equipment performance meets or exceeds customer expectations
• Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance to OEM standards
• Diagnose faults methodically and deliver effective first-time fixes
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
• Manage parts usage, stock control, and related documentation accurately
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in safe, serviceable condition

 
Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Mechanical or Electrical qualification (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience working with electro-mechanical equipment (e.g. packaging, automation, or document handling machinery)
• Strong experience in a customer-facing engineering role

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge: minimum 1 year (required)
• Electrical experience: minimum 1 year (preferred)
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
