Composite Laminator – Motorsport & Formula 1
An excellent opportunity for experienced Composite Laminators to join a leading motorsport and high-performance automotive manufacturer based in Oxfordshire.
This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, consistent overtime, and the chance to work on Formula 1, motorsport, and advanced composite projects.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Carbon fibre pre-preg lay-up
• Working from engineering drawings, templates, and lay-up manuals
• Vacuum bagging, de-bulking, and curing processes
• Trimming and finishing composite components
• Producing parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
• Supporting production within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Composite Laminator / Composite Technician
• Background in motorsport, Formula 1, aerospace, or high-performance automotive
• Strong understanding of carbon fibre and composite manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and quality
• Flexible approach to overtime

Salary & Benefits

• £12.90 – £16.00 per hour (1-3 years’ experience)
• £16.00 – £18.00 per hour (4-7 years’ experience)
• Overtime paid at:
  • 1.25x after 40 hours
  • 1.5x weekends
• 40-hour working week
• Paid breaks (2 x 15 minutes daily)
• Free hot drinks on-site
• Early finish every Friday
• Permanent role with strong long-term prospects

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:00 – 15:00

Based in Oxfordshire, with easy access from:
Banbury, Bicester, Oxford, Brackley, Silverstone, Witney and surrounding areas.
