The Opportunity
We’re seeking skilled Composite Laminators and Composite Trimmers/Fitters to join industry-leading motorsport and high-performance automotive programmes based in Buckinghamshire — one of the UK’s key hubs for advanced engineering and performance vehicle development.

You’ll work on advanced carbon fibre components for Formula 1 teams, hypercar manufacturers, and elite motorsport clients, contributing to the design and build of performance-critical parts.

These are outside IR35 contract positions with excellent long-term potential, competitive rates, and immediate starts available.

Composite Laminators

• Layup of pre-preg carbon fibre and advanced composite materials
• Work from engineering drawings, templates, and layup manuals
• Apply vacuum bagging, de-bulking, and curing processes
• Trim and finish to the highest motorsport standards

Composite Trimmers / Fitters

• Trim, drill, bond, and assemble composite components
• Work to fine tolerances using jigs, fixtures, and hand tools
• Prepare, fit, and finish carbon fibre parts for F1 and motorsport applications
• Maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience in composite laminating or trimming
• Background in Formula 1, motorsport, aerospace, or high-performance automotive
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Strong understanding of composite layup, bonding, and finishing techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and layup manuals
• Flexible approach to shift patterns and workloads

Contract Details

• Rolling contracts with opportunity for extension
• Outside IR35 engagement
• Attractive hourly rates depending on experience and shift
• Immediate start dates available

Location
Based in Buckinghamshire, within easy reach of: High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Bicester, Oxford, Slough, and West London.
