As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring that every component meets the highest standards of safety, performance, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection and verification of mechanical components using a range of processes and precision tools.
• Generate and maintain accurate inspection documentation and reports
• Use SAP or similar systems to record all work in progress
• Track and document component movement through manufacturing stages
• Identify, record, and report non-conforming parts or assemblies
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in mechanical inspection or quality control within an aerospace, defence, or precision engineering environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience using inspection tools and equipment such as micrometers, gauges, and CMMs
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a methodical approach to work.
