NDT Technician – Formula 1 Team | Motorsport Valley
Location: Silverstone / Northamptonshire 
Sector: Formula 1 | Elite Motorsport
Salary – 12 Month FTC Circa £60,000
Shift – Mon-Fri 1400-2300
 
A Formula 1 team based in Motorsport Valley is looking for an experienced NDT Technician to support race, development and R&D components in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
You’ll work closely with Quality, Production, Engineering and the Race Team, ensuring parts meet the highest aerospace-level standards required at the pinnacle of motorsport.
 
What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out NDT inspections on Formula 1 components
• Using UT (A-Scan & Phased Array), Eddy Current, MPI, DPI and Visual Inspection
• Producing clear, accurate NDT reports
• Communicating inspection results to Design and Stress teams
• Supporting race and test events when required

What We’re Looking For

• Level 2 NDT certification (EN4179 or PCN)
• Strong experience with Ultrasonic and Eddy Current inspection
• Background in Formula 1, high-level motorsport or aerospace
• Calm, confident and detail-driven under pressure
• Excellent communication and reporting skills

Nice to have: X-Ray or CT scan experience
