Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for creating showroom-quality paint finishes? We’re looking for an Automotive Paint Technician to join our clients Paint Shop team, where you’ll be working on some of the most exciting luxury and high-performance vehicles in the industry.
This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their craft, enjoys hands-on work, and wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced automotive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our Paint Shop, you’ll:
- Prepare and refinish vehicle panels and components to the highest standards.
- Apply paint across both metallic and composite surfaces with precision.
- Keep tools and equipment in top condition to ensure flawless results.
- Help trial and improve new painting methods and techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace.
- Check your work carefully, fixing issues quickly to keep quality on track.
- Support planning and estimating for upcoming projects.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll already have some solid experience as a paint technician, vehicle refinisher, or spray painter, ideally within the automotive sector. Experience on luxury or performance cars is a real advantage.
Skills & Experience:
- Practical training or qualifications in paint/panel preparation (C&G or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of paint application, colour matching, and surface prep.
- Familiarity with waterborne and solvent-based paint systems.
- Confident with metallic and composite finishing.
- Knowledge of panel fitting, gapping, and repair would be a bonus.
- Comfortable using basic IT systems for job tracking.
