Join our clients Powertrain team and play a key role in developing cutting-edge control systems for ICE, hybrid, EV battery, and high-voltage projects. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll design, release, and validate control software and systems for world-class automotive and motorsport applications.
The Role
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and validate control systems for ICE, battery, and HV projects.
- Deliver software from concept through to production, meeting performance, cost, and quality targets.
- Commission and test control systems using in-house and external facilities.
- Support prototype and pre-production software releases.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and to budget.
- Contribute to process improvement, standards, and technical documentation.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
- Proven experience as a Software or Control Systems Engineer in automotive, motorsport, or Tier 1 supplier environment.
- Hands-on delivery of one or more products into production.
- Strong skills in Matlab/Simulink, C++, and use of validation tools.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, DFMEA, and structured problem-solving (8D, Ishikawa).
- Experience with CAN, LIN, and other communication protocols.
- Ability to balance lean software development with rigorous engineering for production.
