About the Role
GTS Group are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sensor Build Technician to join a cutting-edge technology and engineering business. You’ll be part of a team building innovative, high-performance solutions for industries such as automotive, motorsport, and advanced manufacturing — with a strong focus on sustainability, electrification, and precision engineering.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Support production teams in building and assembling electronic sensors and related products.
• Perform build and inspection activities during manufacturing.
• Follow detailed work instructions and processes to meet delivery deadlines.
• Carry out electronics assembly and inspection in line with IPC Class 3 standards.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation for full traceability.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and defect reduction.
• Work safely and comply with quality management systems (ISO9001).

About You
 
We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Good GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
• Proven hand-soldering skills to IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-610, and IPC-7711/7721 Class 3 standards.
• Experience in box build manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safe operation of equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet high quality standards.
• Basic IT skills and good time management.
• Experience working in high-technology environments.
