Are you passionate about precision, safety, and saving lives? My client, a world-leading manufacturer, is looking for a skilled X-Ray & NDT Technician to join their team in Oxfordshire.
This is your opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of life-saving components through cutting-edge radiographic and leak detection techniques.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• X-Ray & CT Scanning: Carry out Digital Radiography (DR) and Computed Tomography (CT) inspections of cartridge and rocket assemblies to identify anomalies and confirm correct assembly.
• Helium Leak Testing: Use mass spectrometry to detect leaks within stringent test limits, ensuring reliability of critical components.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Engage with Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and explosive safety protocols. Support audits and contribute to maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion 5S practices and collaborate on process enhancements to support efficiency and quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA/QC, Production Control, and Stores to resolve issues and maintain smooth workflow.
• Training & Development: Commit to continuous learning, skill documentation, and upskilling in alignment with team goals and evolving technology.

  
What We’re Looking For:

• ASNT Level 1 Radiography certification (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in NDT, preferably within aerospace or a high-precision manufacturing environment
• Competence in digital X-ray systems and self-inspection
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret technical documentation
• A detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to quality, safety, and teamwork
