The Opportunity
We’re seeking skilled Composite Laminators to join world-class motorsport and high-performance automotive projects based in Daventry — right at the heart of Motorsport Valley.
You’ll be working on advanced carbon fibre components for Formula 1 teams, hypercar manufacturers, and elite motorsport clients, helping to deliver lightweight, performance-critical parts to the highest standards.
 
These are outside IR35 contract positions offering excellent long-term potential, competitive rates, and immediate starts.

Role Responsibilities

• Layup of pre-preg carbon fibre and advanced composite materials
• Work from engineering drawings, templates, and layup manuals
• Apply vacuum bagging, de-bulking, and curing processes
• Trim and finish to precision motorsport standards
• Maintain consistent quality and accuracy under tight deadlines

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience in composite laminating within motorsport, F1, aerospace, or high-performance automotive
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
• Strong understanding of layup, bonding, and curing techniques
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and layup manuals
• Flexible approach to shift patterns and workloads

Contract Details

• Rolling contracts 
• Outside IR35 engagement
• Attractive hourly rates, based on experience 
• Immediate start dates 

Location
Based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, within easy reach of: Silverstone, Brackley, Banbury, Bicester, Towcester, and Northampton.
