Sales Consultant – Electrical Test Equipment

Know your insulation testers from your multimeters? Even better if you enjoy talking to people as much as you enjoy talking tech.
  
I’m working with a well-established supplier of electrical and environmental test equipment that’s looking for a Sales Consultant to join its growing team. You’ll be helping everyone from major manufacturers to electrical contractors find the right testing solutions, building relationships rather than simply taking orders.
  
You’ll spend most of your time in the office managing enquiries, generating new business, preparing quotes and following up opportunities, with occasional visits to customers for meetings and product demonstrations. No two days are the same, and if you enjoy solving problems as much as closing deals, you’ll fit right in.
  
You’ll be joining a team that’s beaten its sales targets for the last three years, so you’ll be surrounded by people who know what they’re doing (and are happy to help you do the same). Expect plenty of product training from leading manufacturers, ongoing development and the chance to gain recognised industry qualifications.
  
What you’ll need:

• Knowledge of electrical test equipment or related electrical products
• A consultative approach and confidence speaking with customers
• A proactive attitude and the drive to spot opportunities
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or a plan to get one)
